About the event

Working in a virtual setting can mean that you have to communicate with people from various backgrounds and timezones. While it is not necessary to dress formally all of the time, it is important to know your audience, be on time, set the proper background (audio, visual, and lighting) and be appropriately dressed for each connection. In this session, we will discuss the do's and don'ts of how to show professionalism in the virtual workplace. This session will be led by Dr. Laurie G Hillstock, Owner/CEO of Hillstock & Associates. Hillstock & Associates is a virtual consulting firm comprised of experienced learning and development associates, with one common goal: to help businesses and organizations transition to the online environment in a quality and sustainable way. We design content, identify and address technology needs, provide related training, and help leaders strategize around next steps.
