About the event
In this session, we will explore ways to handle conflict, resolve conflict, how perception impacts others and ourselves in the workplace and community, and leading a successful team. There will be group activities centered around conflict resolution and examples of perceptions received by others in our spheres of influence.
Facilitator: Dr. Mary Locke
Dr. Mary S. Locke has over ten years of training experience in Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI). She is a certified ELI trainer and also completed the Riley Diversity Leadership Institute at Furman University, which enhanced her competency in DEI. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Arts in Computer Resources and Information Management. In addition, she has an earned Doctoral degree in Curriculum and Assessment.
