About the event

In this session, we will explore the importance of how personality impacts interaction with other colleagues as well as your boss. We will discuss our personality type and how it affects communication with others in the workplace. We will also define “Emotional Intelligence” and ways in which interact with others. We will end by discussing whether we use active or passive voice when exchanging conversation in our spheres of influence.

Facilitator: Dr. Mary Locke

Dr. Mary S. Locke has over ten years of training experience in Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI). She is a certified ELI trainer and also completed the Riley Diversity Leadership Institute at Furman University, which enhanced her competency in DEI. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Arts in Computer Resources and Information Management. In addition, she has an earned Doctoral degree in Curriculum and Assessment.
