DEI Session 1: Team Building & Civil Treatment

In this session, we will discuss the importance of our interactions with others in the workplace. We will explore a number of key topics, including civility, respect, inclusion, positivity, how to transform the culture, and the importance of the vision/mission in your workplace.

Facilitator: Dr. Mary Locke

Dr. Mary S. Locke has over ten years of training experience in Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI). She is a certified ELI trainer and also completed the Riley Diversity Leadership Institute at Furman University, which enhanced her competency in DEI. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Arts in Computer Resources and Information Management. In addition, she has an earned Doctoral degree in Curriculum and Assessment.
